Engineering Plus, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for the 2007 building restoration and addition to the landmark 401-409 East Michigan Avenue buildings in Kalamazoo. The 37,000 sq. ft. complex includes a restaurant (Food Dance), bakery, office space, and future tenant space. The project required close work with owner, tenants, architect, and contractors to preserve the unique historical features of the buildings originally built in 1888 and 1909.
