MPI Research focuses on the preclinical and early clinical research needs of the biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, animal health, and agrichemical industries. Engineering Plus, Inc. has been working alongside MPI Research since 2005, providing engineering and design services for over 275,000 sq. ft. of new construction as well as for continuous improvements and renovations to existing facilities.

From infrastructure master planning to specialized laboratory systems, Engineering Plus provided engineering to meet the unique needs of this growing research facility. Specialized systems include cage wash, exhaust air energy recovery, breathing air, BSL-3 laboratories, lightning protection, animal watering, waste hot water energy recovery, room pressure control, N+1 equipment redundancy, emergency power, high plume exhaust, boiler/chiller plants, high efficiency cooling towers, and others.
